An added bonus with Provence property here at Château de Camiole is the wide range of sports and activities available here in the resort as well as in the surrounding countryside and towns. Two large outdoor swimming pools are located in the centre of the village, overlooking the valley below and joined by a stunning cascade waterfall which drops over 20m from the top pool into the bottom one. The top pool is 280m2 and includes a large children’s pool and a small paddling area. The bottom pool is 250m2 and includes a circular spa pool. Swimming pool safety is a top priority in France, and both pools are alarmed and securely fenced at all times.
In the village square, in traditional Provençal fashion, there are pitches for boules, and for the more energetic, walks around the village or further afield into neighbouring Callian or up into the hills. Only 5 minutes from Château de Camiole is the prestigious Golf de Terre Blanche at the nearby Four Seasons Hotel.
For children, there is a separate building and grounds where the Kids’ Club operates during the summer months. There is also a 2,500m2 outdoor area for ball games which can be used by all kids, big and small.
In 2011, 2 tennis courts and a 6,000m2 multisport area with football pitch; volley ball and fitness trail will be available.
