Château de Camiole is the perfect setting for a holiday villa in Provence “entre Mer et Montagne” (in between the sea and the mountains). Located just below the Roman hilltop town of Callian in Provence Côte d’Azur, luxury villas and apartments are only 20 minutes from the beaches of Cannes, one hour from Monaco and 45 minutes from the ski resorts.
The resort is on the doorstep of the famous south of France coastline of Antibes; Cannes; St-Tropez, and the French Riviera. Camiole is located in Le Var region in Le Pays de Fayence which is recognised as the sunniest region in France.
Le Pays de Fayence is made up of seven ancient hilltop villages dating from Roman and Medieval times with pretty cobbled streets and market squares: Callian; Fayence; Tourrettes; Montauroux; Bagnoles en Forêt; Monts and Seillans (the latter popular with Monaco property owners). Montauroux is only 10 minutes walk from the resort, where there are independent boutiques and bistros as well as a local market.
Also nearby is Le Lac de St-Cassien, a large expanse of fresh water with plenty of beaches, watersports and pretty lakeside restaurants to sample.
